We left our lovely hotel just inside of Iowa and traveled through the whole state, all of Illinois and just on the inside of Indiana to get to Hammond. I finally made it to my temporary home-sweet-home! <3 It took longer than expected because of traffic on the I-80. BUT we finally made it to my lovely apartment that is on loan from my boyfriend and his roommates until they get here at the end of August! My part of the apartment is on the second floor and has a very large kitchen, small bathroom, good sized living area and two bedrooms! It's quite spacious, especially since I am not sharing with anyone at the moment.
The first night consisted of cleaning and setting up home just enough before we headed out for some dinner.
